Last week's Game Connection event in Lyon saw its biggest turnout ever – over 600 development executives attended to forge deals with publishers and service providers.

Biggest year ever for Lyon Game Connection

Over 4,600 meetings took place at the event which ran from December 5th to 7th in Lyon, France – and the event saw a 35 per cent jump in exhibitors numbers, too, as 152 companies set up shop.

Representatives from 32 different countries attended, including a strong European contingent as well as USA, Russia, Canada, South Korea and Japan games development professionals.

Now, organiser Connection Events’ focus is on Game Connection Americas @ GDC, which takes place throughout the Game Developers Conference.

Publishers including Atari, Capcom, Konami, Microsoft, Nintendo and Ubisoft have already signed up for the San Francisco event, which runs from March 5th to 9th.
