BioShock 2 lead designer heads to Harmonix

The lead designer on BioShock 2 has joined Harmonix Music Systems as design director.

According to his LinkedIn profile, as spotted by Superannuation, Zak McClendon joined the US studio this month.

McClendon previously worked as lead designer and design director at 2K Marin for five years, having previously worked at Crystal Dynamics as game designer and lead designer.

Harmonix, which last year released titles such as Dance Central 3 and Rock Band Blitz, is believed to be working on a new music-based motion gaming IP for next-gen consoles, although the studio has yet to officially reveal its development plans.
