Game City 6 dinner event to gamify food

Bizarre dinner celebration for Another World legend

Eric Chahi, the games industry luminary that built Another World, is to host a molecular gastronomy event to celebrate his contribution to the games industry.

Taking place at Game City 6 on the evening of October 26th, Chahi will host a five-course dinner where the French game designer will playfully demonstrate the chemical reactions of cooking ingredients.

Game City event organisers promise a “truly multi-sensory evening, combining touch, taste, sight, smell and sound as Chahi experiments with and alters perceptions and taste buds alike via molecular gastronomy”.

Tickets cost £25 and space is limited.

“Like most kids, I remember being told not to play with my food. Eric is bringing something totally unique to the table, literally, and it’s time to ignore that rule,” said GameCity director Iain Simons.

“This is the kind of event that makes GameCity unique – finally a meal that plays as good as it tastes.”

‘My Dinner with Eric’ is part of the GameCity6 event; an annual celebration of videogame culture, which runs from October 25-29th. Many events within the festival are free to attend.
