Disney-owned team named best studio in the south by Wired Sussex awards

Black Rock wins Digital Media Awards South prize

Disney’s Brighton-based Black Rock was named best studio in the south at Wired Sussex’s Digital Media Awards South last night.

The studio, which this year released its first game for Disney – off-road racer Pure – beat out Zoe Mode and Relentless to the prize.

The awards were designed to reward web and games designers and developers, social networking agencies, e-learning outfits, bloggers and animation professionals working in the south in digital media.

NCsoft Brighton also walked away with a prize, the outstanding digital design award, for its work on the Lineage II website.
