Events once again open up game studio to lecturers and students

Blitz announces more educational open days

Blitz Games has announced that its educational Open Days are to return for 2008.

The events invite lecturers and students from videogames-related courses to the studio to witness working life at a games company.

This year sees an addition of a special workshop for lecturers in addition to the usual line-up of staff talks, advice sessions and studio tours.

The open days for students run on March 3rd and 10th, with the open day for lecturers taking place on the 17th and the lecturers workshop following on the 27th.

Kim Blake, co-ordinator of the open day events commented: “Blitz is commited to working closely with colleges and universities to help them understand exactly what kind of graduate we need to maintain the UK’s talent base.”
