SF author and futurist to talk on computer entertainment 35 years from now

Bruce Sterling announced as Austin GDC keynote

Science fiction writer Bruce Sterling has been announced as keynote speaker for this year’s Austin Game Developers Conference.

The Hugo Award-winning writer will present ‘Computer Entertainment 35 Years from Today’, in which he’ll hypothesise about the future of games and the language that’ll be used to construct them.

The Austin GDC 08 takes place at the Austin Convention Centre in Austin, Texas from September 15th until the 17th. For more information, and to take advantage of the early bird discount available until July 31st, visit the official website.
