Industry maestros prepare for LA-based development summit

Buzz builds for upcoming 3D gaming event

The 3D Gaming Summit will take place at Los Angeles’ Universal City on April 21 – 22 this year.

Confirmed headline speakers include co-founder of Epic Games Mark Rein, Avatar producer Jon Landau, EA Canada CTO Alan Price and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 writer Jesse Stern.

“The video game industry needs to appreciate the business opportunity that this conference represents. Game developers that partner up with content-hungry display makers will benefit from customer awareness, competitive technology, and great gaming experiences,” said executive director of non-profit 3D gaming alliance S3DGA.

“Customers need gaming content for their new 3D HDTVs… so who will have games to sell? Stay in the loop, be prepared, go to the conference.”
