Swedish studio collaborating with Japanese publisher on new Bionic Commando title

Capcom signs up GRIN for Bionic comeback

A report over on Gamespot reveals that Capcom is bringing back its Bionic Commando franchise – and has signed up Swedish studio GRIN to participate on development.

Gamespot describes GRIN’s work as "collaborating" on the development of the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC game – Capcom America is producing the game, overseen by a Japanese creative director and developed by the Stockholm-based team.

Previously, the studio worked on the PC conversions of GRAW 1 and 2. Bionic Commando first appeared in 1988 and has appeared on a number of formats – the most recent was a 1999 Game Boy Color title.
