In-game ad firm to serve Spill's casual games with ads on US sites

CASUAL CONNECT: Spill signs Double Fusion for casual game portal ads

American web firm Spill has signed up Double Fusion to provide in-game advertising on its casual games portals GamesGames.com and GirlsGoGames.com.

The deal includes pre and post roll advertising, web inventory and custom partnerships. Double Fusion says the move hugely increases the number of viewers in its advertising network.

"Spill Group develops Casual Games portals for specific demographics, allowing users to have a much more pertinent gaming experience and, by extension, allowing advertisers to reach much more highly targeted audiences in a more efficient way – and all of which makes Spill a welcome addition to the Double Fusion network," said Jonathan Epstein, president and CEO, Double Fusion.

Added Spill CEO Peter Driessen: "Double Fusion has proven that they fundamentally understand the casual games market and that they are capable in matching advertisers to their audiences. Each of Spill Group’s sites is targeted at a different audience, each of which has its separate interests. Therefore, finding the right advertising provider that could address such varying needs was of the utmost importance to us."
