June event schedules in Petursson keynote

CCP Games boss headlines GameHorizon

Hilmar Petursson, the CEO of Icelandic mega-studio CCP Games, is scheduled to make an industry address at this year’s GameHorizon.

The Gateshead-based event – which runs from June 28th to 29th – will also hear from the likes of Eidos Life President Ian Livingstone, Epic Games exec Mark Rein, Zynga vice president Louis Castle and Schell Games CEO Jesse Schell.

Petursson’s speech has yet to be detailed, but CCP Games has a wealth of experience in the MMO and online spaces to draw from.

The company recently made headlines at E3 this year having revealed its ambitious FPS project, Dust 514 – a PS3-exclusive that somehow ties online with Eve Online’s gargantuan PC community.
