Executive producer moving on to new role in May

CCP’s Jon Lander heading up studio’s mobile team

CCP’s Jon Lander is stepping away from his role as executive producer at the studio to head up the developer’s mobile strategy.

Lander, also known as CCP Unifex, has held the role of executive producer at the company for over a year, during which he was tasked with improving the structure and foundations of the Eve Online team, while also improving its flagship MMO’s core gameplay.

The studio said it would be looking outside of CCP to find his replacement.

"For the past year, Jon Lander (CCP Unifex) has served as our Executive Producer," said CCP CEO Hilmar Veigar Pétursson.

"In May, Jon will be transitioning to another job at CCP, where he will lead CCP’s emerging mobile strategy, something that Jon has had ambitions to take on for CCP for a long time.

Lander joined CCP in 2009 as director of core technology development, before taking on the role of senior producer two years later, and then executive producer in August last year.

Prior to working at the Eve Online developer, Lander worked at technology firm IBM as senior managing consultant.
