Centroid joins Tiga as affiliate member

Motion capture company firm Centroid has become an affiliate member of Tiga.

The studio has performed mocap duties on a number of games, including Rock Band and Prince Caspian, and is owned by Traveller’s Tales.

This year Centroid opened a new purpose built stage at Pinewood Studios, which it says is the largest motion capture stage in Europe. Its first project in the new building was Headcases for ITV.

Mike Stilgoe, Centroid’s director of operations, said: “Centroid has an excellent presence within the video games market. We are looking forward to further cementing our relation-
ships with the games industry in general and with Tiga and its membership in particular.”
