Guildford developer hub will be based in Surrey Research Park

Co-working space Rocketdesk heading to new premises

Rocketdesk is moving to a new location in order to house even more independent games developers.

The co-working space opened doors in Guildford six months ago and offers games makers a place to work if they don’t own an office of their own. They will also be able to share ideas and experience with fellow devs also using the space.

Within the next two weeks, the organisation will move to a new facility in the Surrey Research Park with up to 50 desks available to developers – over half of which have already been filled.

Co-founder Ben Ward said: "We’re hugely excited to be growing Rocketdesk into a much larger studio, allowing us to ramp up our efforts in providing a friendly and productive environment for Surrey’s freelancers and start-ups.”
