Codemasters co-founder opens smartphone studio

Codemasters co-founder David Darling (pictured) has launched a new smartphone studio called Kwalee.

The Leamington Spa based studio says it plans to “excite and entertain” customers with “innovative new products that provide special experiences.”

Kwalee is looking for “hard working, innovative, bright people,” the studio said, as quoted by a GamesIndustry.biz report.

The studio seeks designers, programmers and artists.

Darling co-founded Codemasters in 1986 with his brother Richard. In 2005 the gaming giant was voted by Develop as the top independent games developer.
