Crytek ran a series of GDC demonstrations of stereoscopic 3D for CryEngine 3.
The company say this application of 3D is superior to parallel projection, the main competing version currently available to developers.
Stereoscopic 3D is being incorporated into CryEngine 3 Live Create, the Crytek editing software for studios using CryEngine 3.
Crytek say that their engine can support stereoscopic 3D on a large variety of display hardware, ranging from 4k cinema projectors to stereo TVs.
