Cut the Rope studio accumulates 400m downloads

Cut The Rope developer Zeptolab has surpassed 400 million downloads of its games.

During the first half of 2013, the studio also managed to reach 60 million monthly active users across its games, which include various iterations of Cut The Rope and Pudding Monsters.

Players of Cut The Rope have cut more than 60 billion ropes – 42,000 ropes per minute – and have fed 20 billion pieces of candy to in-game character Om Nom.

The studio has also revealed it is working on Cut The Rope 2, which will be released by the end of the year.

“We remain dedicated to our mission: examining the science of fun. That means building experiences that players love,” said ZeptoLab CEO Misha Lyalin.

“Cut the Rope 2 is a massive step forward for the game. Amazing graphics, gameplay and characters drive a brand new experience that fans are going to love.”
