Finalist projects from student game design competition now online

Dare to be Digital entries released

The organisers of Dare to be Digital have released the six finalist entries for download by the public, placing Ragnarawk, Climbactic, Bear Go Home, Airborne, Desire FX and Heaven2Ocean on the event’s official website.

Last month the winners were announced at an event in Dundee, the competition’s home. Phoenix Seed, Carebox and Voodoo Boogy, the respective teams behind the first three games, each won £2,500 and will be shortlisted for the BAFTA’s Ones to Watch award.

Preparation is already underway for next year’s competition, which will continue to expand with the opening of a fourth regional centre in Wales with the cooperation of Channel 4.
