Then nominate yourself for our brand new Musical Composition award

Develop Awards 2014: Are you the John Williams of video games music?

Develop is giving all UK and European composers the chance to be recoginsed for the work in video games with this year’s new Musical Composition award.

This brand new prize recognises the achievements of composers and music designers based on a single track from a game or gaming content released in the last year. The track nominated should have been composed by a composer or team based in the UK or Europe.

Think you fit the bill? Are you video games’ answer to John Williams? Then send a 350-word pitch and a copy of or link to the track you’d care to nominate to developawards@intentmedia.co.uk.

Musical Composition is one of four new awards this year. You can find details of these and all our categories in our full lobbying guide

The deadline for lobbying is Tuesday, April 15th at 5pm.

Once submissions are sent in, they will be vetted by the Develop Team and the finalists will be announced in a few moths.

The Develop Awards are supported by platinum sponsors Crytek and Deep Silver and gold sponsors Codemasters and Amiqus. OPM has signed up as table gift partner, while Tandem is event partner.

Contact Alex.Boucher@intentmedia.co.uk to discuss the other high-profile sponsorship opportunities available.

And make sure you book your tickets by contacting Kathryn.Humphrey@intentmedia.co.uk.
