Liveblog, Twitter updates and more straight from the biggest night for games developers

Develop Awards tonight – live coverage online

Tonight is the biggest night for games developers: over 550 industry execs will cram into the Brighton Hilton’s Ballroom to see who has won the Develop Industry Excellence Awards.

But if you’re not there, don’t worry – we’ve got the event covered for you through comprehensive live coverage.

The ceremony itself will be covered by a liveblog from the Develop team here on develop-online.net. That will go live tonight below this story – so bookmark this page if you want to tune in live. We’ll be posting pictures and comments, naming the winners and relaying their acceptance speeches back to you.

If you’re on Twitter, follow@developawards for reports, quotes and retweets from the event. Attendees and commentators are invited to use the #developawardshashtag when discussing the event.

You can also follow the Develop Team individual on Twitter – @Michael_French, @sdinsey1, @rob_innit, @spadgy_OTA and @stuartfrom1985

Plus, regular break-out news stories will be posted up on the site to high light key achievements from the winners list as they happen.

95 companies from 17 different countries are in the running for 21 prizes that will be handed out tonight – over 140 different companies are attending the event itself.

But whether you are in the room or not, there’s plenty of coverage online for you to sink your teeth into.
