Develop Brighton host reveals new one-day VR event

The organiser of the successful Develop Brighton event is to launch a new show dedicated to virtual and augmented reality.

Develop:VR will take place on November 24th in London, and will be put together by Tandem Events.

The event will feature two tracks concerning VR and AR, with a third examining the commercial application of VR in spaces such as medicine and tourism.

An expo will also be held, showcasing headsets, input devices such as motion controllers and software.

"Virtual reality has offered video games developers with some unique opportunities," Tandem MD Andy Lane told GI.

"The potential for developers within the games industry is apparent, but virtual reality also opens doors to other industries.

“We’ve curated Develop:VR to help developers harness these prospects, provide a platform for learning and showcase their talent."
