Extra circ print edition and online updates planned

Develop hits GDC Europe

Europe’s only dedicated game development magazine and website has set out its plan to be all over GDC Europe next month.

Develop Magazine and Develop Online are each planning special initiatives to help programmers, artists, producers and musicians make the most of the important Cologne gathering.

The August print edition will have 1,500 extra copies distributed via literature racks within the conference area, whilst special development-only reports will be filed continuously throughout the GDC Europe by Develop Online.

"Develop is very excited about GDC Europe this year and we’re looking forward to an immensely special August," said editor-in-chief Michael French.

GDC Europe is the premier pan-European developer event, bringing together creatives and business execs from all over the world.

There will be over 40 exhibitors, plus visionary keynotes, international speakers and extensive media coverage.

Speakers include Jeppe Carlsen (Playdead), Sean Kelly (SCEE), William Chen (Gamania), Colin Johanson (Ncsoft ArenaNet) and Ralf Adam (Gameforge).
