Traditionally 'quiet' month fails to hold back Develop's rise online

Develop traffic tops 100k again in Jan

The only site exclusively targeted at Euro games development has enjoyed its best ever January traffic.

According to a Google Analytics audit, www.develop-online.net attracted 101,292 unique visitors between January 1st and 31st, whilst page views hit an all-time high of 237,175 during the same period.

The impressive figures come as Develop is gearing itself up for the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco next month. Develop is a media partner of the event, playing a key role in mobilising awareness amongst European programmers, artists, musicians and producers.

"Develop is unique because it is targeted purely at the creative sector. We are hitting our monthly target of 100,000 unique visitors a month. This demonstrates that, under the editorship of Rob Crossley, Develop Online has become an essential daily tool for professionals in exactly the same way as the monthly magazine and digital edition," commented Develop publisher and Intent Media boss Stuart Dinsey.

"Everyone who has an interest in the sector trusts our respected brand, authoritative editorial and specific remit that covers everything that matters to games developers around the world."

Develop Online includes a variety of opportunities for developers to contribute and advertisers to reach a wide audience of games industry professionals.
