Studio also makes number of internal promotions to 'support global expansion initiatives'

Digital Chocolate hires ex-Nokia and Sulake execs

Social Games outfit Digital Chocolate has hired former Nokia and Sulake execs Kaj Haggman and Emmi Kuusikko as GM and VP of product management.

Kuusikko has left her role as director at the Habbo Hotel developer to take up the position, whilst Hagmann, who also becomes VP of the company, previously worked in a number of roles at Nokia, including most recently head of program management execution.

The developer has also made a number of internal promotions at its Californian office “to support the company’s global studio expansion initiatives”.

Edmond Chui has become VP of platform engineering, whilst Jerome Collin has been promoted to VP of product management and Sean Dorran-Fish has taken on the role of VP of game design.

“We’re pleased that our strategy and progress have attracted such experienced and talented executives,” said Digital Chocolate president Marc Metis.

“And it is a pleasure to promote our emerging leaders from within.”

The studio has developed social games for various platforms such as Facebook, iOS and Android with titles including as Galaxy Life, Zombie Lane and Army Attack.
