Former LA-based dev joins sibling brewery company in Wales

Doctor Who: Legacy studio Tiny Rebel Games relocates to UK

Tiny Rebel Games, the developer behind TV spin-off title Doctor Who: Legacy, has crossed the Atlantic to return to the UK.

The studio was previously based in Los Angeles, but has moved its business to Newport, South Wales, where creative director Lee Cummings grew up.

Cummings’ family is the owner of sister company Tiny Rebel Brewery – which is, as it sounds, a brewery, rather than a developer. His relatives also operate the Urban Tap House pubs in Cardiff and Newport.

“We have a lot of family and business here,” executive producer Susan Cummings told Develop sister title MCV.

“We own the Tiny Rebel Brewery which is winning loads of awards – that’s going fantastic.

“We’ve always been involved because of my business background. We’re looking forward to being involved more immediately now that we’re over here.”
