Double Fine’s Kickstarter journey ends tomorrow

Double Fine’s recording breaking Kickstarter journey comes to an end tomorrow.

The crowd funding initiative, led by Tim Schafer, has been a sensation for the studio, smashing its $400,000 target by 600 per cent.

There is still 36 hours left to make further contributions to the game, with Double Fine t-shirts now added as a reward to supporters who pledge $100 or more to the project.

Crowdfunding will officially finish after 8pm, EDT on March 13th.

The Kickstarter project was launched on February 9th, and quickly became a huge hit amongst adventure game fans, raising its target budget within eight hours.

Schafer has said the extra funds will go towards improving the game and the accompanying documentary, as well as adding more languages, an original soundtrack and voice acting.
