20 put forward for e-virtuoses Awards; finalists revealed June 5th

e-virtuoses unveils serious gaming awards nominees

The organisers of the e-virtuoses serious gaming conference have made public the nominations for the event’s own awards.

20 companies and individuals, including Cuteacute, Interactive 4D, iLumens and Seppia, have been nominated across five categories; namely training, communication, health, ramification and a final category for traditional modern gaming projects applicable in a serious gaming context.

“This year has seen a 66 per cent increase in candidatures for the e-virtuoses awards," said Sandra Faggioni, general commissioner of e-virtuoses. "This is a reflection of the growing dynamism in the international serious games and gamification markets, and it’s a trend that’s paralleled by an increase in production quality both in terms of concept and technology."

The nominated projects will pass the scrutiny of both the public and selected judges during the e-virtuoses conference itself, taking place this year from June 4th to 5th. The winners will be announced on June 5th.

Og the 20 nominees, 19 hail from France, demonstrating an apparent geographical domination of the serious gaming sector.

e-virtuoses takes place in Valenciennes, France.
