Xbox One supported by new operations including Black Tusk, opened in 2012

E3 2013: Microsoft opening five ‘new’ studios

Speaking on stage at today’s Microsoft E3 conference corporate vice-president Phil Spencer revealed that Microsoft has opened five new studios to support the Xbox One.

Immediately upon revealing the new studios existence it showed a trailer of an unnamed game by Black Tusk studios, suggesting it made up one of the five. Opened by Microsoft in Vancourver, Canada back in November 2012, Black Tusk previously existed in a smaller capacity as Microsoft Vancouver.

The Black Tusk trailer showed a triple-A 3D game demonstrating a military figure abseiling down a building in a contemporary, non-battlefield scenario (pictured).

The other studios that form the five ‘new’ outfits were not explicitly confirmed.
