Monster Lab described as 'Pokémon meets Tim Burton'

Eidos signs Backbone for Monster-sized Wii IP

Eidos has signed up to publish developer Backbone’s new Wii game, Monster Lab.

Revealed to the press at GC, according to a report on Puissance-Nintendo, the game is described as ‘Pokémon meets Tim Burton’, and is an action RPG.

The game asks players to assemble monsters that are then sent into battle and is being written by comic book writer Adam Beechen.

The game is set for release in June 2008.
