Advertising solution aims to help clients take advantage of emerging markets

Elblabs targets social devs with in-game ad network

In-game advertising company Elblabs is launching an advertising network especially for social, online and mobile titles.

Through its GameAdTrading Portal, the Hamburg-based firm will act as an intermediary between game developers and advertisers.

“Social, online and mobile games are an integral part of daily life for millions of people today," said Elblabs founder Sebastian Wendrich.

“At the same time, there is a trend towards using the internet and smartphones as the primary media, with users spending more and more time on online and mobile games.

"We now have an ideal way of reaching this target group, enabling us to open up a new market for in-game advertising.”

Elblabs gives developers a means to integrate advertising into any game developed with Unity 3D, while advertisers can deliver advertising materials in a straightforward manner.

Elblabs is launching a beta version of the GameAdTrading Portal today and will present its own in-game advertising solution at Gamescom.
