Unreal Engine group will be presenting its Atlas Technology to potential partners

Epic Games to demo MMO tech at GDC Austin

Epic Games is heading for the Game Developers Conference Austin armed with the latest demo of Atlas Technology, the MMO development toolset for Unreal Engine 3.

The independent outfit will be joined by representatives from Epic Games China, both allotting meeting space at the event for those wishing to discuss Unreal Engine 3 licensing options.

Atlas Technology consists of persistent world server technology, MMOG content creation and management tools.

Epic Games China claims that the tech gives developers the ability to “quickly and cost-effectively” build, manage and operate MMOs of many varieties, from casual and session based games to community and e-commerce applications.

Those who’d like to arrange a meeting regarding Atlas Technology should email Mike Hines. For a chat about Unreal Engine 3, email Mark Rein. Space is likely to fill up fast, so when emailing, suggest two meeting times.

The Game Developers Conference Austin is set for September 15-18.
