Art training and outsourcing centre expands to the USA

Escape Studios opens NY office

Escape Studios has opened its first international office, choosing New York City as the base for expanding its business to the USA.

The centre opens this month, helmed by Ed Caracappa, former director of business development at BOXX. Initially operating as a reselling department, Escape’s online learning platform will launch on September 8th thereby expanding its training services to the whole of the US. It also plans to open a recruitment department at the new office by the end of the year, helping trainees find work in the industry.

"This has been a long-standing ambition of ours," said founder Dominic Davenport. "We are delighted to be able to offer our CG expertise across America."

Robin Shenfield, CEO of post production house The Mill added: "Escape trainees are in a class of their own and well equipped to enter the working environment. We’re looking forward to meeting more of them with the opening of Escape in the U.S."
