The game has dethroned another licensed title – Treyarch’s Spider-Man 3 – and held off another British star, Lara Croft. Tomb Raider Anniversary, a remake of the first Lara Croft adventure, had to settle for second place in the UK charts.
Eurocom has produced a number of best-selling games based on big-name movies, including tie-ins for Batman Begins and Ice Age.
