Ex-Rockstar Vienna trio readies “visionary” biz model

With a company called Games That Matter, founders Hannes Seifert, Niki Laber and Jürgen Goeldner plan to take the wraps off their plans in a week’s time on January 25th.

The team describes the Games That Matter business as "a new company with a visionary game production business model".

14 years ago Seifert, Laber and Goeldner founded Neo Software, which produced games such as Rent-a-Hero and Alien Nations. The company was sold to Take Two and incorporated into Rockstar Games in 2001. After that the team produced ports of Max Payne and GTA for consoles. Rockstar Vienna was eventually closed in the middle of last year.
