Developer working on two mobile games to be released this year

Ex-Rovio and Nokia staff form new Finnish studio Koukoi Games

Ex-Rovio developers and Nokia staff have opened a new game studio in Oulu, Finland.

Koukoi Games currently employs ten staff consisting of employees from local companies and abroad. The developer is working on two games for mobile platforms, the first of which is expected to be released in the summer. A second title will be made available later in the year.

“The mission of Koukoi Games is to develop games that match with the rising needs of players by aiming to produce games with higher production value and broader experiences,” read a statement.

“To serve their mission, Koukoi Games has built up a team that can handle all the areas of developing games from ideas to launched products and make their games have much broader content.”
