New indie studio working with Japanese publisher

Fallout designer founds WhiteMoon Dreams

R. Scott Campbell, lead concept and game designer on the seminal RPG Fallout, has co-founded WhiteMoon Dreams, a new studio in Pasadena, California with Looking Glass and EALA vet Jay Koottarappallil.

WhiteMoon Dreams’ mission statement describes the studio as ‘a high quality game developer that takes an innovative approach to game design and production methodologies.’ It is currently focusing on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii titles with an eye on the 18-34 year old male demographic.

The studio, which is currently staffed by 11 people, is keen to create its own intellectual property and has already signed a deal with an unnamed Japanese publisher.
