Stronghold franchise indie takes home the top prize after pipping Bossa and The Creative Assembly to the post

Firefly Studios triumph at Develop Quiz

Indie developer Firefly Studios last night roared to victory at the latest Develop Quiz.

The event saw teams gather in London to lock intellectual horns over numerous topics, both gaming related and from beyond the world of the industry.

An extremely close finish saw Firefly Studios secure 61 points, Bossa Studios first of two teams take second place with 60 points, and The Creative Assembly painfully close behind with 59 points.

Defending champions First Touch Games came in in joint 11th place, in a quiz where most of the scores were high.

Teams battled it out over topics including ‘Swedish Band or Ikea Furniture?’, ‘Video Game Toilets’, ‘Console Cartridge Close-Ups, ‘Pixelated Sports Stars’ and ‘Kids’ TV Themes’.

Thanks to all the teams, and the quiz’s headline sponsor Microsoft and round-sponsor UKIE for making the ever-popular night yet another great success.

As well as the main quiz prizes, Bossa’s Henrique Olifiers took home a Nokia Lumia 800 phone, donated by Microsoft and given out after a blind draw.

The next Develop Quiz will take place on September 18th. If you want to join in on the fun, book now and contact Kathryn.Humphrey@intentmedia.co.uk to avoid disappointment.
