PS4 and PC roguelike shooter has already grossed roughly £2.2 million

Five-person dev Dodge Roll sells 200,000 copies of Enter the Gungeon in a week

Dodge Roll’s Enter the Gungeon has got off to a flying start.

The roguelike top-down shooter launched last week on PS4 and PC and, seven days on, has sold more than 200,000 units, the developer has announced.

As pointed out by Eurogamer, the title is priced at £10.99, making gross revenue earned so far roughly £2.2 million.

Even after the cut of publisher Devolver Digital and the two platform holders, that’s still a fair amount for Dodge Roll’s five employees.

The game’s soundtrack is available separately on Bandcamp for $7 (£5), serving as a secondary source of income for the tight-knit team.
