Several US education institutions lend weight to international dev competition

Fleet of universities join Global Game Jam

A host of competitors and representatives from US universities will be converging on the Southern Polytechnic State University in Georgia for the third annual Global Game Jam from Friday, January 28th – Sunday January 30th.

Students from Columbus State University, Southern Polytechnic State University, the University of Georgia, Savannah College of Art and Design and the Georgia Institute of Technology will all be competing at the state-wide event as part of the larger international competition.

Georgia Game Developers Association members may also be eligible for a discounted or even free Global Game Jam registration at the Georgia event.

The Global Game Jam is a 48-hour speed-development event for people of 18 years and over which challenges team to produce a complete game within its time-span.
