Art and animation outsourcer signs multi-year deal

FOG to represent Black Point Studios

Representation agency FOG Studios has signed a multi-year deal to aid outsourcer Black Point Studios’ business development efforts.

Black Point is an art, animation and VFX production facility helmed by Stan Miskiewicz, a film and TV industry veteran now using that experience in the games space. It has worked on titles such as Iron Man for Sega, Midway’s Stranglehold and From Russia With Love for EA.

“We first met with Ed Dille from FOG Studios back in 2006 at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco," said Miskiewicz. "It wasn’t long after that that we decided FOG would be a great partner in terms of growing our pre-existing business development efforts. Though it took a while for the stars to align I’m excited that we’ve connected with such a great partner and I’m looking forward to what we’re going to be able to do together.”

Ed Dille, CEO and co-founder of FOG, added: “Representing Black Point Studios was an easy decision right from the start. This is a studio that has cemented its place as the go-to shop for absolute mission critical outsourcing work in the interactive industry. You can only build that level of responsibility and trust by bringing the level of quality in their craft that Black Point Studios does, and the repeat business relationships they have developed with major publishers are a testimony to that accomplishment.

"Despite downward pricing pressure in the broader outsourcing marketplace, when AAA major investments are being made, customers look for quality, timeliness and unparalleled customer service as determining factors, not the lowest possible bidder. Black Point has these characteristics and work ethic deeply ingrained in their corporate culture, and we are proud to be offering their services to the world.”
