Mike Hayes to take up the role of non-executive director at UK-based digital publisher

Former Sega West president joins Caperfly

Digital entertainment and media app upstart Caperfly has revealed former Sega West president Mike Hayes as its new non-executive director.

“This is a good time to be in this new vibrant sector of the industry,” said Hayes.

“I am positive we can take advantage of the next great wave of innovation and distribution here at Caperfly.

“I see Caperfly as a unique mix of talented individuals with aspirations to develop high-quality titles, and I relish the opportunity to be a part of their success.”

Caperfly CEO Gavin Cheshire added: “He joins Caperfly at a very exciting period of the business, as we accelerate through our plan, and then onto the launch of our first application.”

Hayes joined Sega in 2004 and left last month having overseen its transition from a company focused on boxed-product to one geared up for the emerging digital markets.
