Microsoft shows off latest wave of indie games heading to Xbox One

Fresh wave of ID@Xbox titles detailed

Platform holder Microsoft has announced that a slew of promising independent games will make their console debuts on Xbox One.

During the company’s Gamescom press briefing, ID@Xbox director Chris Charla showed off fresh footage from more than 25 games that will be coming to Xbox One over the next year.

The titles displayed include:

  • Cuphead
  • Dungeon of the Endless
  • Fruit Ninja Kinect 2
  • Ghost of a Tale
  • Goat Simulator
  • Gunscape
  • Inside
  • Knight Squad
  • Lovers in a Dageorus Spacetime
  • #idarb
  • No time to explain
  • Plague Inc: Evolved
  • Rivals of Aether
  • Smite
  • Slashdash
  • Space Engineers
  • Spectra
  • Pneuma: Breath of Life
  • Threes!
  • The Escapists
  • Volgarr the Viking
  • Speedrunners
  • Superhot

Charla also announced that the entire upcoming console portfolio of Team17 and its development partners are also heading to Xbox One, starting with humourous prison-themed title The Escapists.

He ended with a new trailer for Capy’s upcoming Xbox One exclusive Below and added that these were just some of the hundreds of games in development through ID@Xbox.
