From Software is working on action RPG similar to Dark Souls

Dark Souls developer From Software has said that it is currently working on three separate titles.

Kotaku reports that a Twitter translation of a Japanese interview revealed the news. The first title is an action RPG with a dark fantasy setting that has been likened to Dark Souls. The second project is a reboot tied to a previous franchise – and all signs seem to point to Armoured Core.

The third is a brand new project, no details of which are known aside from the fact that From boss Hidetaka Miyazaki describes it as a little strange”.

Fans seem to be pegging their hopes on the action RPG being either Bloodborne 2, or possibly a remaster of PS3 release Demon’s Souls. However, Miyazaki has seemingly – if his comments can be taken as face value – ruled out both. And not just once, either.

Could we get a glimpse of something at Sony’s E3 press conference tonight?
