Service to be compatible with Samsung 700 series and subsequent models

Gaikai brings cloud gaming to Samsung Smart TVs

Cloud gaming firm Gaikai has partnered with Samsung to bring its game streaming service to the company’s range of Smart TV’s.

The service will be rolled out within the next few weeks and will be compatible with the Samsung 7000 series and models since.

Samsung could also potentially launch the cloud gaming service on older models at a later date, given that no software or hardware is required.

Despite partnering with Samsung, no news has emerged following recent rumours that Sony was looking to buy out the company.
