Event to feature Gears of War writer and Final Fantasy XII composer

Game Connect: Asia Pacific 2007 builds momentum

Concrete details surrounding Game Connect: Asia Pacific 2007 have started to emerge with the announcement of speakers set to appear at the event.

A mixture of conference, exhibition and networking event, GCAP 2007 is focused on growing skills in all disciplines by presenting experienced industry members who will share both their good and bad experiences in the industry.

Amongst the line-up are game writer Susan O’Connor, famed Japanese game music composer Hitoshi Sakimoto and Paul Holman, VP of Euro R&D at Sony Computer Entertainment. IGDA Executive Director Jason Della Rocca and director of XNA Development Connection Pete Isensee are also set to present talks.

The event, organised by the Game Developer’s Association of Australia, takes place from November 15th to November 17th at the Melbourne Convention Center in Melbourne, Australia. More information can be found at the event’s official website.
