Developers, tech firms and publishers set to converge on Lyon for business and networking event

Game Connection draws close

There are little more than two weeks left until the Game Connection business event takes place in Lyon.

The popular event, taking place from November 15th to 18th, expects to attract companies and studios from ever facet of the industry looking to sell, buy, pitch or invest in games.

High profile company’s including Activision-Blizzard, Apple, Capcom, Big Point, EA, Microsoft, SCEE, THQ, Square-Enix, and Ubisoft are already confirmed to attended, and will join some 220 firms for three days of special 30-minute meetings.

A number of attendees have already stepped forward to talk up the benefits of attending the event, which boasts a special Meeting System application which is already available for those wishing to book slots.

“Game Connection is the most efficient marketplace for both retail and digital publishing," said Vincent Dondaine, COO of Bulkypix. "We expect to find and publish or coproduce at least 60 new game iPs."

“At Game Connection Europe we are especially looking forward to finding several top notch online browser games from capable developers. The goal is to make connections for promising business opportunities between the best development teams and Travian Publishing,” added Florian Müller, CEO of Travian Publishing.
