Age Studio, Anino Mobile, Arkedo, Big Rooster and Ocean Media all going to Europe event

Game Connection names Level Up winners

Organisers of December’s Game Connection Europe event have named the five companies that have won its Level Up program.

The winners hail from across the world and the Level Up scheme gives its winners the chance to take their upcoming games to Game Connection and show it to publishers for free.

This year’s winning companies are: Age Studio (France – showing a historical strategy game for the PC), Anino Mobile (Philippines – with a hack-and-slash real time strategy game for the DS), Arkedo (France – making an arcade game for the DS), Big Rooster (USA – who are working on a multiplatform espionage game for 360, PS3 and PC), and Ocean Media (Croatia – making a puzzle game for DS and PC).

48 different firms from 17 countries applied to the scheme – only newly-founded companies are eligible to enter.

Game Connection Europe runs from December 4th to 6th in Lyon, France.
