Free event for aspiring developers opens in Dundee on March 9th

Game in Scotland returns for wannabe developers

Aspiring game developers will have the opportunity to meet experienced industry professionals at Game in Scotland this month.

The free-to-attend Dundee event, now in its seventh year, encourages game graduates and hopeful developers to meet with Scotland’s top development talent.

Some of the companies attending this year’s event include Codeplay, Ninja Kiwi, One Thumb Mobile and Tag Games.

The event’s organisers hope valuable advice will be given for those aiming to be the next big programmer, animator, artist, tester or game designer.

As well as presentations and panel sessions, a number of small local indies, such as Aphelio and Guerilla Tea, will also introduce themselves during.

Attendees will also learn about the annual Dare to be Digital event – the renowned game development contest for graduates.

Aspiring developers are encouraged to bring along their CV and meet the crowd.

Game in Scotland takes place Saturday March 9th, 2013 at Fat Sams nightclub, Dundee, UK. Space is limited.
