Managing director Jamie Sefton 'humbled and delighted'

Game Republic membership ‘doubles in a year’

Trade group Game Republic has signed its fiftieth partner, marking a 100 per cent membership upswing in twelve months.

In March last year the group was forced to secure its future through private investment as public funding was blocked.

One year later the group has grown significantly, representing a number of games companies in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

“I’m genuinely humbled and delighted that the future of this valuable network has been secured thanks to the fantastic support and private backing from the region’s games industry and other UK and international partners,” said Game Republic managing director Jamie Sefton.
