11 German companies to join booth at industry event in Cologne

Gamecity:Hamburg expands Gamescom presence

Germany’s largest games industry network, Gamecity:Hamburg, is to welcome its biggest ever gathering at gamescom 2012

Gamecity:Hamburg will bring 11 Hamburg-based companies to its booth at the industry event in Cologne.

Exhibitors under the Gamecity umbrella include Atlas Interactive Deutschland, Fishlabs Entertainment, InnoGames, Playa Games, and Taylor Wessing Deutschland.

“It is great to see that so many companies are again assembling under the Gamecity:Hamburg roof,” said Gamecity:Hamburg project director, Stefan Klein, “thereby underscoring Hamburg’s relevance as a centre of the games industry in Germany.”

The network will also be hosting the traditional Fish Sandwich Reception, to be opened at 12:00 on August 17th by Klein and managing director Achim Quinke.

Gamecity:Hamburg has more than 2,000 members and is the largest regional network of the games industry in Germany. Gamecity:Hamburg is concerned with creating optimal local conditions for the digital entertainment industry.
