Gamecock lands in Europe

MCV reports that Gamecock has officially opened its promised European office, signing key execs from the UK games industry to manage the new operation.

Graeme Struthers, an industry veteran that can boast stints at Take 2, Virgin, Atari, Dixons and more, will be heading up Gamecock’s European office, while Sarah Seaby, a former Take 2, Interplay and Virgin exec, will be spearheading all of the fledgling company’s European marketing operations. Fellow industry veteran and former RedOctane sales supremo David Noble completes the new team.

Founded last year by former gathering of developers execs Mike Wilson and Harry Miller, Gamecock Media Group has already made quite a splash by stating it plans to put developers first in all its negotiations.
